CIA Name Files - 2nd Release
Notice to Researchers in Records Released under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act and the Japanese Imperial Government Records Act
The Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group (IWG), in implementing the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act and the Japanese Imperial Government Records Act, has taken the broadest view in identifying records that may be responsive to the Acts. Information relevant to the Acts is often found among files related to other subjects. In order to preserve the archival integrity of the files, the IWG and the National Archives and Records Administration, where possible, have released entire files together, not just those items related to Nazi or Japanese war criminals, crimes, persecution, and looted assets. These records may relate to persons who are war criminals, former Axis personnel who are not war criminals, victims of war crimes or persecution, or civilian or military personnel investigating Nazi activities; the records may also include mention of, or information about, persons having no connection to these activities.

吉田茂元首相の再軍備問題のブレーンだった辰巳栄一元陸軍中将（１８９５～１９８８年）が、米中央情報局（ＣＩＡ）に「ＰＯＬＥＳＴＡＲ―５」のコードネーム（暗号名）で呼ばれ、自衛隊や内閣調査室の創設にかかわる内部情報を提供していたことを示す資料を３日までに、有馬哲夫早大教授（メディア研究）が米国立公文書館で発見した。日本の再軍備をめぐり、吉田元首相の側近までも巻き込んだ米国側の対日情報工作の一端を示しており、戦後の裏面史に光を当てる貴重な発見だ。
この“CIA Name Files - 2nd Release”には“S”の欄には「SHORIKI MATSUTARO 」、“H”には「HIROHITO」・・・・・
当然、吉田茂元首相の再軍備問題のブレーンだった辰巳栄一元陸軍中将の「TATSUMI EIICHI 」。そして「KODAMA YOSHIO 」、「OGATA TAKETORA 」、「SASAKAWA RYOICHI 」、「KISHI NOBUSUKE 」のネームがファイルされている。

The enactment of the Japanese Imperial Government Disclosure Act (P.L.106-657) and the issuance of Executive Order 13110 (Jan. 11, 1999) aimed at making U.S. government records related to Japanese war crimes and war criminals in World War II more accessible.
Records surveys implementing these requirements disclosed that there were relatively few remaining security-classified relevant documents waiting for disclosure. On the other hand,better identification of relevant documents and improved access to these records was a primary goal of the White House.
The Interagency Working Group (IWG) staff took up the admonition from the National Security Advisor that “Agencies should bring to light hitherto unknown relevant unclassified or declassified records encountered in the course of the
search for relevant classified records.”

もしかしたらそのファイルの中にコレまで明らかにされてなかった「事実」が発見されるかもしれない・・・・・・・
聞いた話では、1934年からだから、日中戦争の真実とか、戦後、巣鴨プリズンでの戦犯の尋問調書とかも発見できるかも知れない。

100,000 Pages Declassified in Search for Japanese War Crimes Records
New IWG Volume and Records Guide on Japanese Records Now Available
College Park, MD…The Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group (IWG) announces the availability of 100,000 pages of recently declassified records as a result of a search for files relevant to Japanese war crimes. In addition, the IWG presents a new reference book, Researching Japanese War Crimes Records: Introductory Essays and an electronic records finding aid that will help researchers locate and use the thousands of new and extant files in the National Archives related to the war in the Pacific.

アメリカ国立公文書記録管理局は、アメリカ合衆国政府の書類と歴史的価値のある資料を保存する公文書館。米国連邦政府下の独立機関である。NARAには米議会の決議書、大統領の布告や行政命令、連邦行政規則集などを発行する義務がある。近年増えてきた一般市民の資料閲覧の監督、複写や現像などの複製サービスも行っている。また学者達が研究しやすいよう取り計らうのも役割の一つである。
